the ma angle is an indicator that measures the slope of a moving average. The idea behind this is that as the price starts to trend, the slope of a moving average becomes steeper. The steeper the slope, the bigger the value that the ma angle indicator plots.
This is an updated version of the ma angle indicator available on httpswww.
- added notradezone - possible market is ranging, gray colour.
This is a stochastic type representation of the moving average angle. This means that an ascending value will represent a stronger trend while descending value will represent a weakening trend leading to consolidation.
Ma angle graph moving average - in order to transform accumulated history data, you need a metatrader 4 indicatorma angle graph moving average - it is a metatrader 4 indicator that allows you to detect several changes and dynamics in price that many traders cant estimate or see without an indicator, which highlights its essence and usage.
you cant properly calculate the angle of the moving average because that depends on the amplitude of the chart (how many bars are displayed in the chart) and therefore is a very disfunctional way to analize data. But you can calculate the variation of the moving average over time if it is above 0, it means is rising.
Hello, im having some problems with the ema angle indicator, i will post some pictures here thats shows that the indicator is not showing correct data, its highlighted in blue, does anyone have an indicator to measure moving average angle.
This is simply a moving average that changes colour according to its slope , angle or incline, so it is blue when flat, red when its sloping downwards or too steep downwards and green when sloped upwards or too steep.
this indicator will copy a moving averages plot and show whether its angle vector is negative or positive. In other words, it will show when the moving average starts to accelerate decelerate.
so i suggest you dont use an angle, but something like average difference in pips per timeframe. That means take the difference in value from ma1 and ma2 and divide it by the number of timeframes between the moment the mas intersected and the moment you want the angle.
